Thank you so much! It will probably take me a year to be able to participate in awards. I just started blogging and each new thing takes me weeks to figure out and learn. I appreciate the award so much, but until I have figured out all the details to this website building, I won’t be able to participate. I am so very thankful though!

It took me a little while to get it too! So I’ll be back in a year to see if you’ve done it! 😁😁

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I am so flattered. I just started blogging though, and haven’t figured awards out yet. I think I will be ready in about a year to participate. It takes me weeks to figure out anything new on this platform. Again, I thank you so much, and I hope you will consider me again in the future when I am more of an expert at this! 🙂

I was the same when I was nominated for an award haha! I wasn’t blogging for long. Its nothing too difficult, you just save the photo and then upload that in your post ‘Add Media’ it will be in 🙂 then copy and paste rules from my post and do what it says. This way you get to share your blog with more people, the person who nominated you (in this case its me) has you on their profile so now people will hopefully click your link 🙂 its a great way to meet more people and for others to know stuff about you 🙂
Most of the Awards are similar, in this case I had to nominate people with 200 or less followers which was difficult lol!

Oh my gosh, that sounds like a foreign language to me. I can’t do it now, but I’ll look at the whole thing later. Again, thanks for nominating me and trying to get my blog out there. Even if I’m not successful, I do appreciate it! 🙂

Hi,
I’ve become familiar with your blog and I’m wondering if your interested in affiliating with my brand Schizophrenic.NYC. SchizophrenicNYC is a clothing line started by a Schizophrenic native New Yorker(me) who can’t stand to see homeless people with mental illness living on the streets. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, 20 to 25% of the homeless population in the United States suffers from some form of severe mental illness. This percentage is way to high and needs to change now.
What I plan to do with SchizophrenicNYC is donate a portion of the profits to organizations in New York that support the mentally ill such as Fountain House, NYS Health Foundation, MHA-NYC, NAMI New York State as well as additional other charities.
If you like my mission and are interested in affiliating with me please take a look at my website Schizophrenic.NYC and choose a tank top that you like. I will ship it to you with the expectation that you will blog about it and inform others about what I plan to do.
Together we can make a change. Join the movement.
Thanks for your time,
Michelle

Julie, I read about the award, and I am amazed that you would award it to me. I can’t respond though. Here is the truth about me – I barely get my blog up every day. the reason my blog is all text with no pictures of anything is because that is as far as my knowledge of WordPress goes. I have no way of posting all the things the reward requires. I am not tech savvy enough. I hope you understand. I’m sorry. I may be able to participate in a year or so. Thank you so much!

I came across your blog through a posting on Reddit. There is a subgroup that specifically focuses on schizophrenia. It’s a great community where people who are diagnosed with schizophrenia share experiences and coping skills as well as a place for friends and family with those of the disease to discuss common problems. You should take a look if you have not already. It’s a very empowering supportive community.
Anyways, I would like to say I really enjoy your blog. As a person recently diagnosed with schizophrenia (specifically paranoid schizophrenia), I am always looking to hear from others with the disease and hear their experiences. It’s a way for me to find connections and learn.
Just wanted to say thank you and keep doing what you are doing! Also your husband sounds fabulous.

Hi – I’m Jo, I’m 62, and I’m an artist and writer who is recovering from thirty years of depression and anxiety. I read your blog with great interest because I relate to it very much. My husband/soul mate/best friend has been my fabulous carer all these years. Two years ago I had a medication crisis and friends put me in touch with a local mental health team who put me on the right medication and introduced me to Cognitive behavioural therapy, which gave me the tools to help me through hiccups. I’m now better than I’ve ever been and am building the life I’ve always wanted: Art, writing, travel, wild west living history and other adventures. Reading your blog reassures me that I’m not alone. Thank you.
